My furnace failed on the coldest day of this winter. No joke. The thermostat inside my house read 43!! Anyways, AQB was recommended by my neighbor and he told me to specifically request this guy John E. as he previously dealt with him and apparently was very pleased. So I did. AQB dispatched John the following day to be at my house between 8 and 10 in the morning and he actually arrived right on time which was refreshing. So far so good. I took John to the furnace located in the garage and asked if I could watch because I was very interested in the process and he said he welcomed it. This guy was so thorough in his diagnosis and explanation that I felt I learned a great deal about how these machines operate. Anyways, as he clearly proved to me the blower motor had a short and from me trying to make the furnace come on so many times (while broken) it actually caused the blower relay to fail as well ( he showed me the back of the circuit board and it clearly had burn marks on it ). I was bummed to say the least! The estimate to repair was $1,150 which to me seemed fair considering the extent of the problem. But I didn't want to spend that kind of money into a machine that was very old and inefficient. So he quoted me on a 4 ton Lennox El195 high efficiency furnace, a very nice touch screen t!1ermostat and free maintenance. I know Lennox is supposed to be one the best and generally speaking, you get for what you pay for. So I signed. They came the next day. The furnace was installed beautifully and it works way better than the relic it replaced. Sao, I can say this ... My neighbor was right about AQB and its technician John E. Overall my experience was surprisingly very good considering I'm out several thousand bucks but I saw this day coming when I bought the house and I'm just glad it went smoothly and as hoped. Seriously. I'll recommend them any day.
