We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and praise toward our real estate agent, Charles at Hometrust. Most people dream of owning their own home; we are no different. What most people do not understand, however, is the amount of work, stress and paperwork is involved. For us, buying our dream home was just short of a nightmare.
I cannot count all the times Charles was there to calm us down, be a shoulder to cry on, listen when we needed to vent or talk (or yell) and to counsel us when we had questions or did not understand how all of the ins and outs work. Charles is, above all else, very professional. Our standards are admittedly very high; Charles exceeded even our expectations at every challenge. He made himself available to us (and our two toddlers) seven days a week. I do not think Charles ever once told us “no” or tried to deter us when we requested to view a home or found out information on a home. We looked at homes during our search at all hours of every day of the week.
When our incompetent loan officer went missing in action and would not return our calls or e-mails, Charles was the one to explain things to us and assure us that he would try to get in touch with her as well. The communication between Charles and us was amazing; he was constantly keeping us updated. Charles always went above and beyond for us, with a smile on his face. There were numerous times during escrow that Charles was the only one working towards getting escrow closed for us. We encountered many obstacles and with Charles’ expertise we all made it out of this in one piece with our sanity and our dream home. Even after everything was said, signed and done, I have had issues come up related to the house and Charles continues to answer my questions – he is an invaluable resource.
In closing, we would just like to state that Charles at Hometrust is an extraordinary real estate sales agent and person. We are so grateful that a chance meeting with him turned out so well for our family. I recommend Charles and Hometrust to all I know; he is amazing.
