We had a recent dispute with John Laing Homes regarding their defective tile flooring installation in our new home (tiles popping out and cracking everywhere), and had won judgment two times against this company in Small Claims Court. Yet, the company still has not paid any damage for the poor workmanship, and has declared bankcruptcy for protection.
My experience with John Laing Homes has been horrible, in the sense that this company has never wanted to take responsibility for its workmanship. It rather fights you in court with their lawyers (but, lost anyway). Beware of its claims on the beautiful brochures and its sales pitch. We can see why it carries a C rating by the Better Business Bureau. We hope in the future that this company would conduct its business in a more helpful, responsible, accountable, and customer-oriented way.
