Meridian Law Center was the worst company to go through for a Home Loan Modification. They made my family believe that they could really help us. My case worker was from India and I can never understand what he said. Our modification was denied. We paid the Meridian Law Center $2000.00 and they did not help us at all! Their refund policy states that if your home loan modification is denied that you will get $1500.00 back. They told us that if you we were denied, then that is the banks fault and they still did all their work and will not give us a refund. We came to them because we are having financial difficulties and needed their help to lower our mortgage payment. Instead they took our money and put us in a even worse position. If you are looking into a home loan modification, Do Not go through the Meridian Law Center!
