I am truly disturbed by the level of service i have received at this institution. It all began with a hardship withdrawal I had to make from my retirement account. I asked for a deposit form from one united so the money could be direct deposited because it was for 8000 and i live out of state. I didn't want to deal with protracted hold times due to the payment being needed for an emergency medical procedure. The form they sent was blurry and looked as if i had been printed from a printer. The retirement company had to send a check because of the suspicious nature of the form. I had no choice but to deposit it into a 3rd party ATM and have it held for 5 business days. Transamerica certified that the check had been cashed on the 17th of September but because i called repeatedly to complain, my hold was extended from 5 to 7 days about an hour ago when they finally sent the hold notice required by law. This happened right after i got off the phone. Mind you today is Wednesday and i'm just now getting it. This account is 6 months old and has over 6,000 a month in direct deposits on average. I am clearly being retaliated against and have asked to speak to management ho cant be bothered to answer the phone or return my calls or emails. My wife is sick and suffering and im not blaming one united for that. I am blaming them for a blatant disregard for their own rules and for their horrible customer support. I feel mistreated and undervalued as a customer and as a veteran of these united states. I left my credit union against my better judgement to try and support my own and have been treated worse.
