I recently hired Trans National Van Lines to move our household belongings from New York to Florida. I was contacted via email and then phone by Marcie who was very helpful from the start. She was very knowledgable about the industry, she provided me EXTREMELY helpful websites to do research of ALL moving companies and did not pressure me like many other companies had tried to on the phone. She was very professional. She assured me that we would be happy with Trans National Van Lines and I assured her that if I was I would take the time to write a wonderful review. This was our second time moving in 5 yrs. and we were on a pretty tight budget with not a lot of room to spare for any surprises. I definetly stressed this to Marcie from the beginning. She once again assured me there wouldn't be any surprises and I have to say the only surprise was that upon delivery the price was less then originally priced at since our inventory list which we did on the phone and updated two weeks before the move date was right on the mark. The three men crew that showed up to pack my household belongings were professional as well and very pleasant which was a major concern of my husbands and I since he could not be present when the movers came. The packers boxed very carefully and padded my furniture as promised and I must say to a great job. My husband was very nervous about his big Plasma TV but they new exactly what to do to protect it from getting damaged. My piano was perfectly moved as well. The truck took 3 days to deliver and Marcie gave us a window of 3-5 days so no surprises there. The delivery was as smoothe as the start. The same men delivered that packed and my husband was just as impressed as I was. I have already reccommended Trans National Van Lines to my brother who is setting up to move cross country this summer. Thanks again to everyone at Trans National Van Lines. Great job. Great communication (even in the evenings when I had a quick question there was always a manager on stand by). Thank you for making this transition an easier time.
